Many companies are offering ‘wellness programs’ these days. Most consist of health screenings, discounted or free gym memberships, and if you’re lucky, a discount on your health insurance premiums if you achieve certain goals (generally tied to weight loss or healthy BMI).
These are all good things, but corporate wellness can be much more interesting and engaging than something of a business transaction with your employees. If healthy living can feel like a desirable choice, it can actually become (gasp! ) popular with your employees.
